i love playing games (who doesn’t!). though personally, i find most new games pretty boring. i think about the time of quake (1996), the focus of what was the next “big thing” shifted away from clever gameplay and lasting replay-ability, towards games that relied more on graphics and 3d effects… boring!
as you can see from the list of games i have finished, i just can’t be bothered playing alot of new stuff at all. don’t get me wrong, there have been some awesome games released since then (half-life, anyone?), but with nowhere near the consistency of games made when technology was not so good, and when people had to use their imagination to fill in the blanks that the creators couldn’t quite make
here, i will talk about some games that have been enjoyable to me
