i personally find new games boring. about the time of quake, the focus of what was the next "big thing" shifted away from gameplay and lastability, and to graphics and 3d effects… boring!

as you can see from the list of games i have finished, i just can’t be bothered playing alot of new stuff at all

however

emulators let you re-live the days of good quality old games on your PC (or xbox, mobile phone, ps2, or several other things) and play Nintendo, Super NES, Mega Drive, Gameboy, N64 and even Playstation games on things they originally weren’t intended for
